- Research associate ILIA research project, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, since 2026 In the ILIA trial, people with schizophrenia use an app to record early warning signs of relapse. I analyse the costs of this care and how they relate to its benefits.
Research
My methods include economic modelling, experiments, case studies and health economic evaluations alongside clinical trials.
- Artificial intelligence in organisations: how companies and university hospitals adopt and govern generative AI and connect it to their existing IT systems.
- Digital infrastructures: how applications become more tightly connected to other systems over the years and how rules and responsibilities (governance) affect their lifespan.
- Health economics: costs and cost-effectiveness of digital care. Cost-effectiveness relates additional costs to additional benefits.
- Pricing and decision behaviour: pricing models in which customers set the price themselves (pay what you want), price promotions with a game of chance, the fairness of AI-based prices and the measurement of risk attitudes.
